How do I register for a course?

Step by step instructions on how to register for a course

1. To register for a course, go to the course page by visiting https://www.hua.edu/academics/courses/

2. Choose the quarter you would like to register for andselectthe course that you are interested in.

3. Add the course to the cart, and begin the check-out process.

Once you are at the check-out stage, you can choose to use a credit card or a bank (checking) account. The credit card option has a 3% credit card transaction fee, but there is no fee for the bank checking account. Enter the billing information associated with the credit card or bank (checking) account. 

IMPORTANT: The bank checking account (ACH) payment option is available only to US bank accounts.

IMPORTANT: If the name and the phone number in the billing information is not the same as the information of the student registering for the course, please mention this in the additional information section under order notes.

Please read the course description to see if the course you are registering for has any pre-requisites. In particular

(i) All MA Sanskrit Courses are taught in Sanskrit Medium and require the students to demonstrate Sanskrit language proficiency by clearing the Sanksrit Proficiency Test. 

(ii) All Sanskrit courses at the Certificate level. 

(iii) Graduate or Masters level courses.

Once you complete the checkout process, you will receive the following:

1) You will be emailed a receipt along with an order number from the email address - info@hua.edu. Please check your spam or promotions inbox if you do not find it in your primary inbox. 

2) You will receive an acknowledgment from support@hua.edu confirming your course registration. NOTE: if you registered for a student other than yourself, you can also reply to this email to confirm the student details. 

3) You will receive your HUA ID and password information from support@hua.edu to the student's email address sent to us at the time of registration, a few days before the class start date. Please note: it typically takes us a minimum of 48 hours to process your order. Please read this article if you registered late. 

4) You will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to access LMS for Zoom links and  course content. You can also refer to help desk articles in this section:
