How to access LMS and recordings

Namaste Ji,

  1. HUA ID is hosted by Google. That means, the hua.edu email address is very similar to gmail.com email address. Due to this reason, sometimes the browser mixes up the HUA ID with the personal Gmail address of our students, causing confusion. Therefore, we highly recommend that students use a different browser for all their HUA activities and keep it separate from their personal activities. This makes life so much easier. e.g - Use the Microsoft Edge browser for HUA work, and do all personal work in Google Chrome.
  2. HUA mailbox can be accessed from mail.hua.edu and the HUA learning management system (LMS) can be access from lms.hua.edu. We highly recommend that students login to the mailbox first, and soon after login to the LMS in the same browser. If they don't login to the HUA mailbox first, the browser can try to access the LMS using their personal Gmail address and this will show an error message.

  3. For viewing the videos of the class, the students must first login to the LMS. Here are the detailed the instructions for watching the videos: https://help.hua.edu/accessing-video-recording. Please note that steps 3 to 5 are important. They show how to login to YouTube with the HUA ID. Since the videos are only accessible from the HUA ID, it's important to be logged into YouTube with the HUA ID.
